Donagh Kelly in his fabulous new motorsport museum.

HOPKIRK AND McRAE WILL LEAD THE DÉJÀ VU PARADE

Rally enthusiasts won’t have to wait until next year for a Déjà vu Motorsport fix as the organisiers of these charity reunions have announced Déjà vu Donagh Day. This pilgrimage to Donagh Kelly’s new Stables Motorsports Centre in the Frosses, near Donegal Town will start in the centre of Donegal Town at 12.00 noon on Sunday 24th October 2021.

Paddy Hopkirk, Ireland’s legendary Monte Carlo Rally winner, will lead the way, navigated by Rory Kennedy, in a Mini Cooper S, identical to the one he used in 1964 to win the sports most famous event. Jimmy McRae, the Scotsman, who won the Circuit of Ireland seven times, will follow in the Subaru Impreza once driven by his World Rally Champion son Colin. The 1982 Irish Tarmac Rally Champion John Coyne will be returning from America to drive the Sunbeam Talbot) that brought him so much success. Other names including Donagh Kelly, a Tarmac and National Rally Champion in 2015, are expected to join the eighty car spectacle on the thirty-mile route from Donegal Town around Lough Eske special stage and into the Bluestack Mountains.
